About Us
SAIS – Slovak Academy of Inclusive Society n.o. is a non-profit organisation based in Slovakia that connects education, youth, sport and community life.
We work with children, young people and adults, supporting their development through formal, non-formal and informal learning, as well as national and international projects, exchanges, training courses, conferences and workshops, especially within European Union programmes (such as Erasmus+).
Our Mission
Our mission is to build an inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to grow, learn and actively participate in community life. We promote inclusion and equal opportunities, active citizenship, sustainable development, digitalisation, and innovative and environmentally conscious approaches in education and sport. We connect schools, youth organisations, public institutions and the private sector at national and international level, foster volunteering and intercultural dialogue, and create space for sports, cultural and community events that bring people closer together.
Target Group
Our activities are aimed at children and young people, educators and youth workers, sports coaches and trainers, schools and VET providers, NGOs and community organisations, local authorities, adults interested in lifelong learning, as well as individuals and groups facing social, economic or geographical obstacles who need additional support to participate fully in education, sport and community life.
